Not completely, just so's when the drama comes it comes with a bang not a whimper - as with Eastenders lately?

Yes, but with regulation Christmas tragedy. And everything should be sorted in 3 episodes, no matter how dramatic.

of course i'd like them to cheer up! i gave up watching eastenders years ago as it's so depressing and i used to love coronation st, but have missed loads of them recently too.

eastenders could do with more comedy and better acting
