I'm watching it now. About half way through. Aushwitz summer camp??? That made me so angry. Why can't the USA amend their constitutional laws? It makes no sense whatsoever that people use laws made in the 1700s as a defense to do what they want.

Of course they can amend the Constitution if they want to - the right to bear arms is an amendment, the abolition of slavery is an amendment, votes for women is an amendment. They've also repealed amendments (prohibition).

I just can't understand why their right to free speech is exactly that - you can say what you want yet we have laws against inciting racial hatrid. When challenged in the show the guy just said well it's my right. It doesn't make sense to me that a country with huge racial tensions wouldn't try to combat them which gave me the impression that these can't be altered. Or is it that anyone who tried to alter them would commit political suicide?
