You need to watch it on Amazon - the BBC has cut about 15/20 minutes off each episode. It's just brilliant - I binge watched the series.

God, I barely understood a word of it. Lots of nasty violence and not much emotional power with Reid in a coma. Still, I do find Ripper St quite patchy, some episodes I love and others more like WTF?

Reid is back, really good episode tonight but Lady Vera's eye makeup looked totally modern.

Clawdy so glad it's not just me that was distracted by that! Did they really do eyeline like that in the olden days? Did Whitechapel have a Bobbi Brown shop?

Did anyone else think that last nights episode was really 'slow' in comparison to previous episodes. Almost like it had a completely different Director who was trying something 'new'- all that direct acting into the camera.
