Anyone else think the guy in the latest dating McDonald ad is just too cheap? lol
The guy is wearing a shirt and formal jacket and takes her to a sophisticated event like an art gallery, they don't seem to have that much in common, so they part, but eventually meet at McD .

Now obviously the girl was hungry, so was he, so why did he not plan a dinner for the date.

Reminds me of my single friend who went out on a date with a guy she met online. The guy bigged himself up like every other guy online as manager etc. Then he asked they meet at the park, there was a Tesco across from the park and he suggested they go there to get their meal. He buys a sandwich and drink, just for himself (must have cost little with the meal deal) she was so confused, she did not buy anything for herself, because this was just unexpected, so he was asking her why she did not buy anything for her self. lol

God, I hate that advert...the theme is that they have nothing in common. Nothing. But the fact they both like a McD's strawberry milkshake is going to bring them together - what a crap concept. I'd sack whichever lame advertising agency came up with that.

I always think of that advert as an ironic warning - if all you've got in common is what you order in McDonalds you're probably wasting your time!
