Watched it, a fantastic programme.

I was lucky enough to see Frankel race "in the flesh" 8 times and have been to see him at stud a few times.

Sir Henry was a gentleman and a genius. Very sadly missed.

Lovely programme but horrible watching Sir Henry's slow deterioration.

I remember being shocked by how ill he looked at York.

His death was a surprise, so I'm told. He wasn't expected to see the end of 2014 but he only went into hospital for his next round of treatment on the Friday and was dead by Tuesday morning. He'd been doing the week's work list on the Sunday so was planning on being back in the yard.

This was so touching. How Frankel gave Sir Henry a reason to keep striving. His wife is so sweet too.

I used to find it so emotional to see Frankel win and i remember what i was doing when they announced the death of Henry.

As an aside I thought his son is extremely good looking.

Drat. I love Racing and I missed it. Will save it for tomorrow, after a gruelling day at the stables.

Private Eye always used to give Henry Cecil the honor, "Croix de Gucci".

Very sad programme, such a contrast between the fire of Frankel and frail Sir Henry, at the end. Not sure why there was no mention at all of his jockey, Tom Queally.

I asked around and apparently Tom Queally refused to take part as he's (allegedly) still upset at losing the job as the retained rider for Juddmonte at Warren Place.
