Don't think I can bear to watch the terrible scottish accents. WTF did they not cast a Scottish actor?

Agree, I wasn't sure at first if the actors were meant to be Northern, Irish or Scottish.

He is. I got over my accent aversion pretty quickly and just concentrated on him the plot.

He was in "The Promise"- a really good drama about the roots of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and he acted well in it.

Anyone notice though that the child playing him had dark eyes whilst him as an adult has bright blue - do they not have continuity for TV?!

I watched but didn't take anything in because the actor is absolutely gorgeous and I had a face like most of the way through
