Thanks for the ideas. Yes like the idea of subtitles and 50p putting in. Genius

This is the wording we used on invites for a Eurovision party we had a few years ago -

Eurovision Party!!!
"CONGRATULATIONS", you are invited to a party
Saturday (14 May) - children too!
From 7pm just "DING, DING-A-DONG" the doorbell
There will be drinks, food - in fact "ALL KINDS OF EVERYTHING"
We'll go easy on the Eurovision - I promise!
If you've finished "MAKING YOUR MIND UP" RSVP

We have tried food and drinks from different countries. You can print out score sheets from the BBC website. You can give each act marks out of 10 for Song/Costume/Entertainment value etc. There are usually party ideas on the BBC website too.

We have given everyone a country to support and asked them to bring along a small amount of food or drink based on that country. There's flags, drinking games (if your country gets 12 then take a shot), there's scorecards and will be a wallchart with all the finalists for us to score the party's winner. We'll also have a Terry Wogan Memorial Shrine - photo, candle, bottle of Baileys. And some people will wear fancy dress based on their country.
