Just typed out a post and lost it so forgive me if this posts twiceHmm

Anyone watching this fab series? Honestly I've not seen anything so funny in years, it makes me guffaw out loud even when I'm on my ownGrin

The episode where they go trouser shopping- it was like they had a camera when ds and I go shoppingin Primark BlushGrin

Love the whole 80's theme- fighting over the phone, all the tv shows, phones with great long cords, the HUGE video recorder- brilliantGrin

Interesting article, I did wonder about Adam having a cam corder considering a Walkman was seen as a luxury item back then , I didn't know anyone at all with a camcorder, having a microwave was a pretty exciting eventGrin so the family was actually loaded which explains a lot.

Best thing on telly atmGrin

So well observed. There was a scene where the older brother was sitting on the other brother and slapping little brother's face with little brother's hands and saying 'Why do you keep hitting yourself?'

Gave me a major flashback Grin

We LOVE it, we sat and watched them again last night. It's fantastic. I did read series 2 is even better. So I can't wait for E4 to get them.

I really enjoy the little things you forget about the 80's. Like a fee for not rewinding your video!
Beverly is the kind of mum I wish I was

American comedies are generally brilliant in recent years but The Goldbergs is one of the very best. It is so funny and it is unusual to find a show where the whole family can watch and laugh so much. My Wife is a little like Berverly. What a superb actress. Wendi McLendon-Covey is also fantastic in Rules of engagement. Even I can see I am a bit like the Dad though so don't know whether that's good or bad Confused!!!

Love it. It's unusual to find a genuinely funny sitcom that's aimed at the family market, they're usually so bland. I think Roseanne was the last one!

Love it! So funny. It brings back lovely 80s childhood memories.
Jeff Garlin is hilarious.

I'm enjoying it and keeping it to myself so I can watch it whenever I want as I really love all the 80's references. LOVED the Run DMC music playing when the older boy headed to the party in the woods. Wished they'd do more music. Really enjoying the clothes too!

Not only do I absolutely love this show, but the fabulous Wendi Mclendon-Covey AKA the brilliant Beverly Goldberg favourited one of my tweets about Beverly! Grin A small thing but I was so chuffed.
