Tonight, there were 5 adverts on BBC1 before The Royle family, including an advert for said programme and not only that but a reminder that it would be starting during the credits for the previous programme. I think it now takes longer to get to see the next pregramme on BBC than it does on ITV. It's driving me mad. Do they think we're all idiots?
And in a similar vein, why do all half hour type programmes now devote an hour to re-caps, precaps and re-caps of pre-caps? Have we all been hoodwinked? Noone complains about having to watch repeats any more because they've all been re-packaged as re-visits.
