I was mortified because the first two episodes have been (I thought) pretty family-oriented, so I've let our nearly 5 year old ds stay up to watch it. It's been the first programme he's been allowed to stay up 'late' to watch and he's loved it. The first two episodes didn't show anyone being killed but last week's was pretty horrendous - loads of people getting killed by arrows in them, including a young-ish boy and women - I was really shocked. Ds seemed to take it in his stride but I felt really guilty that I'd let him see it, and I said I thought that the series had finished now (which he got very confused about as we'd already told him the King will probably come back at the end and he realises this didn't happen on Saturday!).
Just wondered if anyone else thought the violence factor had increased.

Did anyone think last week's Robin Hood was really violent?
