I'm not keen as it seems unrealistic to me. Don't they expect people to do literally hours of exercise?

I know drastic action is needed but it doesn't seem sustainable so I suspect they'll put that weight back on

Is it the ones with Jesse?

I know someone that was on it (the uk version) she really struggled during it but did well...but it wasn't long lasting and she's just had a gastric band fitted

Woops

There was no aftercare and although there was support during filming, not all crew had to be supportive so it wasn't unusual to find the camera crew tucking into takeaways etc in their home whilst they are trying desperately to avoid temptation

And the exercise routine just wasn't something that could be long term due to the hours of commitment.

I blooming love the show though!

That was my concern IHope. I am full of admiration for the people who take part but I know myself I could not maintain that level of exercise so it struck me as the equivalent of a supervised crash diet. I hope your friend does well with her gastric band
