starts tomorrow.
bingo cards at the ready

- rain and more rain
- outragerous plans
- pregnant woman
- stretched budgets

forgotten anything?

WhatKatyDidnt Tue 02-Sep-14 23:41:16

- Kevin speaking French
- Caravan in the back garden

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 19:46:22

- People getting all coy and refusing to own up to how much they went over budget.

upandawayy Wed 03-Sep-14 19:48:54

Very large windows that cost thousands and then are slightly too big or small

mausmaus Wed 03-Sep-14 20:59:40

oh yes,

- at least one large bespoke thing that doesn't quite fit or breaks
- builder going bust

at the ready with brew and cake to build a tardis

mausmaus Wed 03-Sep-14 21:08:05

oh wow! on top of a cliff.
who will insure THAT?

WetAugust Wed 03-Sep-14 21:14:34

Caravan ticked

mausmaus Wed 03-Sep-14 21:29:12

- hugely over budget (tick)

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:30:06

Watching on 15 minute delay. I see the caravan has already been logged. Can we add the low bridge/cement mixer problem as a wild card on our GD bingo card?

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:31:10

Ah yes, north Wales site. I am sure this site will more than deliver on the 'rain and more rain' bingo call.

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:32:04

Don't spoil me if you're already up to this bit, but I am wondering if the specialist glass panel lorry will fit under the bridge?

TheBogQueen Wed 03-Sep-14 21:32:37

No money

No money at all

Just £60,000 to spend on kitchen

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:32:56

- Inexperienced (client) project manager - check!

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:33:52

Oh, I see getting the steels onto site was a problem. Doesn't bode well for the glass...

WetAugust Wed 03-Sep-14 21:35:23

where in North Wales us it? It seems to have a castle and seaside town close by

FunkyBoldRibena Wed 03-Sep-14 21:35:34

Loan from parents to tide them over.

Family having to help with the building works when the budget runs out and there still isn't a roof on.

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:37:27

I can't help wondering how the kids feel about their parents jazzing their inheritance on a house which will be unsaleable and may even fall into the sea before their parents pop their clogs, resulting in having granny move in with the kids. (I know no-one is guaranteed an inheritance and the parents can spend their money on what they like, but this seems perversely reckless.)

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:38:02

That should have said jizzing. Bloody autocorrect.

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:39:22

OK, kids just been really "OK" on camera about the whole thing. Hmmm.

littlewhitebag Wed 03-Sep-14 21:39:26

Site inaccessible, can't get materials there easily or without additional expense - check!

StrangeGlue Wed 03-Sep-14 21:40:42

Slagging off very sensible council policies which make absolute sense and making them sound unreasonable just because you want to do something nuts.

WetAugust Wed 03-Sep-14 21:40:50

These people have really lost touch with reality pouring their money into what us just a folly

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:45:12

We've just got to the record storm and even Mr Nuts used the word "folly" himself. DH is astonished at their stupidity. I'm not. This show is full of people with more money than sense.

DustBunnyFarmer Wed 03-Sep-14 21:45:54

Penny dropping with Mrs Nuts. Uh huh.

WetAugust Wed 03-Sep-14 21:46:41

is it Criccieth?
