Oops upside your head, get on the floor... grin

blush just me then. I bloody loved Human League!

Ludways Sat 07-Jun-14 21:11:20

Me, except I hated Human League, lol

GlacindaTheTroll Sat 07-Jun-14 21:13:19

Pierrots.

I had a poster; did anyone have an actual doll?

Hassled Sat 07-Jun-14 21:14:49

Was this made in the 90s or have the Human League girls just not aged at all? They must be the same age as me, or a bit older - bloody hell they look good.

Oh bugger I forgot about this!

Hassled Sat 07-Jun-14 21:15:21

Pierrot thing passed me by completely.

Hassled Sat 07-Jun-14 21:17:20

Tales of the Unexpected! That used to freak the hell out of me. There was one about bees that was awful.

It must be a repeat as Victoria Coren looks extremely fresh-faced. Ditto Jamie Theakston.

My aunt had Pierrots all over her house, well into the 90s until they disappeared.
Just how old is this though, cant even name half the 'celebs' commenting as they havent been on tv for yonks!

Hassled Sat 07-Jun-14 21:17:44

Here we go - Royal jelly.

thornrose Sat 07-Jun-14 21:19:49

bloody hell the programme was recorded in 2001!

Hassled Sat 07-Jun-14 21:21:34

2001 - phew. I still looked OK in 2001. I am not the raddled old bag compared to the Human League girls I thought I was.

thornrose Sat 07-Jun-14 21:23:10

grin Hassled god that fairground takes me right back!

EverythingCounts Sat 07-Jun-14 21:27:15

Yes! I knew it must be quite old as isn't Larry Hagman dead now? Commenting celebs v annoying. The footage is the best.

Hello!! It's my decade. Duran Duran later!

1980 a wee bit early for me. I loved the Human League though. Don't remember Kickers/Pacman/Pierrot much.

Barbara Woodhouse <arf> Strangling dogs with choke chains. sad

BOFster Sat 07-Jun-14 21:29:42

Oh god yes, the choke chains!

thornrose Sat 07-Jun-14 21:30:01

Yes, I hate the "talking heads" just show the bloody clips!

Sparklingbrook Sat 07-Jun-14 21:35:24

Hahaha Sheena Easton. I thought she was great.

EverythingCounts Sat 07-Jun-14 21:35:41

Sheena Eason's aged VERY well! She looks like she could be her own daughter...

Hassled Sat 07-Jun-14 21:36:10

We need a new Babs. Except maybe with less emphasis on choking dogs (unless that is acceptable - I know nothing).

The 80s is my decade too - O Levels in 1982, yet by the time the decade ended I was married with 2 kids. Seems surreal now.

EverythingCounts Sat 07-Jun-14 21:36:54

My aunt had Pierrot pictures framed on her walls. confused

meditrina Sat 07-Jun-14 21:39:14

Nigella Lawson as a talking head?

When was this filmed?

thornrose Sat 07-Jun-14 21:39:29

Oh The Specials, instantly takes me back to youth club discos!

thornrose Sat 07-Jun-14 21:40:37

First aired in 2001 meditrina.
