I just realised- the old grey haired bloke in the restaurant was the boy from Press Gang. I am old!

I had to hide behind my hands at the statue unveiling, I was just so embarrassed for Adam

This week's episode just felt stressy. Think I'm going off Rev. Poor bloke never seems to get a break.

I've loved the series so far but tonights episode was quite uncomfortable viewing I thought. Seems a shame and I hope this is just a blip.

I thought that the first two episodes of this seies were a bit lame, I loved this weeks! Hilarious although was a bit cringey at times. I really relate as my Dad is a vicar and it is very well researched. Inner city ministry is bloody hard work!

I thought this was supposed to be a comedy. The scene between Alex & Adam at the beginning of this episode was a bit fraught.

And now the subject of child pornography. It's still a great programme, but more serious than it used to be.

I used to like it - a gentle comedy with a little bit of social observation and a likeable central character but this series has been a disappointment. I turned it off as I wasn't in the mood to hear the child porn storyline or to listen to adam and his wife arguing.

It seems to have changed and I don't really know what it is now.

I agree. Adam is a bit less likeable, his relationship with Alex is a bit less happy, it all feels a bit darker and less appealing.

The beauty of Rev is that he is a real human being, with believable traits. Not just a one dimensional sweet vicar. I agree that is was slightly heavier this episode and has changed direction slightly and I did probably prefer the laugh out loud episodes, but it's still good. It was never just a pure comedy sure - it was always a bit more layered as its about real people and faith.

Definitely agree to it becoming darker this series. Although this makes it more real but not as comforting - especially the Alex and Adam marriage.

I will keep watching though.

Can't believe they had Liam Neeson tonight!

I thought tonight's episode was fantastic - deep and thought provoking for Easter. Tom Holland is a great actor!

We thought tonight's episode was utterly brilliant and we did laugh in some of it. My only complaint is that Mick hasn't been in it for two weeks, I love him

This was excellent! Neeson as God and Colin as St Peter, and the Bishop as Pontius Pilot. Shame that non-one was on hand to help him carry the cross as he made his way. I just wished it was an hour long special. Lots of the analogies broke down, but to squeeze so much in such a short space was really good scripting. And yes, fantastic with LM as a dancing chav with a beer in hand first thing in the morning was fab.

Isn't the Bishop played by Ralph Fiennes? Very funny episode tonight Grin

Loved prissy Nigel.

Is this the end of the series, or is there one next week?

Looks like it closes but hopefully something good will come out of it.

or do a 'calendar'.
Robert is an odd character but I think he will have a hand in the story. And the baby.
