three, don't worry, I am a one man woman and it's Pot all the way for me (unfortunately, as I am old enough to be his mother). Never fear, Boris is safe.

raahh, your doc is speedy. Glad you have a bit of relief.

I only have eyes for Stefan, and Nadal. And Del Potato when no-one else is looking.

Tennis

Stan is definitely playing well. But Djok is now coming back a little. Wawrinka often does this, though, and falls at the last hurdle. As he did last year,at the Aussie, and in the famous match 'under the roof' against Murray at Wimbledon (which Stan really should have won) .

I also want a good final. Unless Nadal is in it, then I don't think i can deal with the stress, and he can beat who ever 3 sets to love Grin

Oh, Stan! You blew that one.

Djok's team, apart from Boris, are all dressed the same. They're a sinister looking crew.

My doc is only round the corner, and i always feel a fraud, so don't like to hang around. Grin

I know it's not a fashion show, but it really does make you appreciate the 'all white' rule, when you see Djok in dodgy grey. Good to see Stan sticking to patriotic coloursGrin

I selfishly want Stan to win, because i will miss the 3rd set going on the school run. Nursery hours are a pain in the bottom. i spend all day in the carGrin

I was thinking the same thing. How acceptable is it to be late to work because of the tennis?

Feel your pain on the shoulder. Quite literally. Hope the physio is some help.

Thanks clay- between that and the AD's I am getting very little sleep. It's all good fun. Grin

Oh well- didn't really think Djok would just roll over. 5th set here we come.

what time is the coverage due to end? They wouldn't take it off would they?

Dh has shoulder pain today, obviously the day for it. I rather suspect its gout which he's had in the past but I can't get hold of a gp (have asked for a call back). I have just spoken to his dialysis nurse though, and she suggests he goes straight to hospital. Dh is going to love that (can't get hold of him at the moment to tell him).

Anyway, back to tennis.

Sadly I think I am going to have to go to work. Annoyingly, I don't think I'm going to have much to do though. Must try to be less efficient in future.

Am trying to get hold of IT department. They've disabled my computer access. Rather than just resetting it like they normally do when they disable it, I now have to fill in an access request form. Which I will find on the work intranet. Yes, that would the same work intranet I can't get on because you've disabled my account. God bless the NHS.

Grin. That sounds like good logic, clay

I have to leave at 11.45. When i was out before, there was no radio coverage of it.

There would be it was bloody Murray

Just got in! Thought it might be another 5 setter

Really want Stan to win (give someone else a turn etc) but think Djokovic may have the edge?

It's soooo close.

If Djokovic does win I do hope he doesn't do another Incredible Hulk impersonation like he did after beating Stan last year. Too much testosterone, most unnecessary I thought.

I've got half an hour till I have to get ready for work!!

Go Stan Go!

Back from nursery chucks lunch in dd2's general direction

This is nail biting.

The first set really didn't look like it would go the distance. I like it when I'm not really too bothered who wins, and I can just enjoy a good match. Would be great to see Stan- but Djok is not goingto give up his strangle hold on the Aussie that easily.

GO STAN!!!

But i feel a little sorry Novak.

I hope Stan gets through to the final. Not keen on Berdych.

Bless him. hes' 'really, really, really REALLY happy.'

There is even a chance of an all Swiss final.

But no more Boris.

JuanPotatoTwo · 21/01/2014 12:37

Aww, well done Stan. Wanted Djok to win but I like Stan. I also dislike Berdy, pretty sure Stan will win that one. Probably just jinxed him now. Boris might need some consoling three ...

Right, I've had enough of this nonsense with muddledmagi. As I said yesterday, I am very fair so what I propose is that we share Pot. I will have him Monday to Saturday, and she can have him on Sundays. Can't say fairer than that.

I thought I like you, Raahh and I was going to sympathise with shoulder pain having had two shoulder ops, but I am not so sure now.

Poor PeskyJuan is not quite right in the head, so I shall ignore her from now on.

I am glad Stan won - although I can appreciate Djok's tennis I find it hard to warm to him as a person.

I am busy thinking up convincing excuses not to go out for the day on Sunday to meet friends & stay at home & watch the final - it's going to be exciting!
