Looking forward to it? Wasn't it a pile of daily fail crap last time?

Rooners, didn't you watch it?!

Shamefully, a little bit. Yes Blush.

No...I dislike tabloidesque benefit bashing programmes. I had a feeling it would be terribly depressing. Being on benefits to an extent I don't particularly wish to see a stereotypical representation of 'people like me', though I am sure some people enjoyed it.

Would rather have a 3 way with Schofield and Prescott than watch that rubbish.

So far it is dispelling the Romanians coming over here just for the benefits myth. Shame they're making a bloody mess with the bin bags but they just want to be able to work. I have 2 friends from Burundi who were just desperate to work when they came here but because their asylum claims had been totally messed up by the authorities, they couldn't apply for jobs till they were sorted. All they wanted was to get on and get working.

I'm glad it actually seems to be dispelling the immigrant benefit myth but the rubbish isn't great!

Feel for the Romanian family. They really want to work.

I think there are more serious issues than whether they have nice flowers!

I can see the principle behind the Britain in Bloom idea - if people have lovely things around them, they'll respect the area etc - but it's hard to believe that many people are in a position to get involved. I mean the Romanian family have slightly more pressing things to deal with for starters and I can't see Fungi and friends planting geraniums all over the place. And hickory you are spot on, Dee needs a bra far more urgently than a trowel and a pack of seedlings.

I feel really sad for the poor Romanians.

Those poor guys make £10 a day for 17 hours labour, i bet some of the residents on that street spend that on cigs for the day. I just despair.

This is incredibly sad. As parent we would all travel to the end of the earth in an effort to help our children. It must be soul destroying to come all this way with the hope of being able to send money back to your family.

It was very heart warming to see the pakastani man helping the romainians.

I don't see why the police can't help if the boss has their passport?

I could cry for those poor men. They are being shamefully exploited.

Report
JazzAnnNonMouse · 13/01/2014 21:45

Why can't the police do something??? These poor men are fearing for their lives because of some exploitative cunt.

To think this could be going on around any of us Sad
