What do we tink of pseudo documentary time travelling wildlife experts then? I'm having a really tough time convincing 3yo DS the're not real.

I'm finding it annoying - can't quite pinpoint why. I think it is because of that whole pseudo-documentary thing - and the scheduling: straight after Jurassic Park (during which I had questions like "can people really make dinosaurs?" and "can this happen in real life?" - then straight to a 'documentary' about time travelling dino-rescuers).

Also the intrepid white hunter guy is very irritating. I was hoping the T-rex would eat him.

The acting in Jurassic Park (iirc) is absolute pants - as is the film!

The little girl screeches too much. And Dickie Attenborough's Scottish accent is pants (bless him).

obviously Nigel the hunter has never seen Jurassic Park or he would know that bringing dinosaurs into the 21st century isnt really a good idea.

It's funny that he tracks footprints to find dinosaurs but when they walk around the leave none!

I was just thinking what a load of old twaddle! They were putting up fences to pen the dinosaurs in and then he's gone out to hunt for them and catch them! WTF - they're computer generated you idiot!

Doesn't he know that minor changes back in time can have catastrophic effects in the modern day?

He could come back to the present and everyone is speaking a different language and living in treehouses...

moo, I must admit you weren't the only one hoping Nigel would be munched by a dinosaur

I wasn't quite sure who they were pitching that at - dd (5) knew that it couldn't be real but did like the dinosaur footage but all of it seemed a bit pointless. It was a bit cringeworthy.

God it was crap wasn't it?

The special effects were good but the whole pseudo-documentary thing was pants.

And, and I ask you, if the sonic boom of the meteor hitting the Earth was one of the loudest noises on Earth, how come he wasn't deaf afterwards I ask you.....continuity.....bollocks....
