What did they take out of the oven? Please tell me it wasnt a baby.

Charotte31 Wed 02-Oct-13 22:10:03

I think it was!! Horrible! Going to be having nightmare tonight!

MikeLitoris Wed 02-Oct-13 22:17:57

I feel sick.

cocoleBOO Wed 02-Oct-13 22:18:40

It totally freaked me out tonight.

I can't unwatch that. Im sure it was what we think. Can't get it out of my head sad

ProfYaffle Thu 03-Oct-13 06:56:29

I don't think it was a baby, we're supposed to think that but it's going to have an innocent explanation. Like the guy's a model maker in his spare time or something.

MikeLitoris Thu 03-Oct-13 06:58:14

I hope your right pro

cocoleBOO Thu 03-Oct-13 07:56:24

I think that too, a baby in an oven is a step too far even for Whitechapel.

ProfYaffle Thu 03-Oct-13 07:58:55

I think it'll be one of those re-born dolls, they have to be dried in an oven don't they? The hard bitten journalist lovingly painting dolls in his spare time hence the "don't judge me!".

BringBackBod Thu 03-Oct-13 11:59:03

Not watched it yet. Not sure if I want to now shock sad

whatkungfuthat Thu 03-Oct-13 16:58:12

He did say 'supper' though when RP-j shouted at him. I thought it might be a baby pig, suits the theme, but it was horrible

littlemonkeychops Thu 03-Oct-13 22:48:22

Just watched this on itv player and thought there'd be a thread on here! I think prof is right, but it's a horrible cliffhanger to end on until next week, can't stop picturing it :-( i used to love whitechapel but this series is getting a bit too dark for me

It looked awful-but can't believe people thought it was a baby!

Thought it was supposed to be some offal/innards!

Wonder what the old lady was eating that "looked like beef"!

MikeLitoris Fri 04-Oct-13 13:41:51

Diddl the old lady was Louise from the book signing wasnt it? I assumed it was a meals on wheels type of thing that the carer brought with her.

diddl Fri 04-Oct-13 13:45:46

Yes, it was-Angela Pleasence.

Yes, meals on wheels type thing-just that she asked what it was & the woman who was then killed said that it looked like beef, & then we discover that there's a gang going round evicerating people...

diddl Fri 04-Oct-13 13:46:44

Oh & she lived at 66b-666??!!

BringBackBod Fri 04-Oct-13 14:36:47

diddle It looked like a baby to me

AutumnLeafMyArse Fri 04-Oct-13 14:59:33

The police pathologist bursting the female DC's boil sent me over the edge. I nearly brought up my dinner!

CloudBursting Fri 04-Oct-13 15:07:17

The old lady from the book signing has been lurking at the aftermath of all the murder scenes this series. It's a bit like the Observers in Fringe!

MikeLitoris Fri 04-Oct-13 15:20:27

Did I see somewhere that her mame is Louise Iver. As in Lucifer? Whitechapel is described as the gates of hell.

ProfYaffle Fri 04-Oct-13 15:47:03

Yy, I've seen her everywhere. I'm loving this series, can't wait for next week!

diddl Fri 04-Oct-13 15:48:32

Yes-Louise Iver who lives at 66b-brilliant!

ScarerStratton Thu 10-Oct-13 13:28:56

The female DC, letting the moth out, that's a bit too random script writing.

I think the female DC IS Louise Iver. I can't recall seeing them at the book signing together, it would explain the access to the station, and why she stepped out of the room to let the moth go, and isn't in the subsequent scenes.

I am a Whitechapel addict, and my name is Stratters.

ScarerStratton Thu 10-Oct-13 13:43:01

Oh, it was a proboscis monkey in the oven smile

whatkungfuthat Thu 10-Oct-13 14:21:32

That pic of Louise Iver and the Krays was creepy, as was the message from the dead dad.
