Love the title !!!

magimedi Fri 05-Jul-13 10:57:18

The 'Other One' is the rather gorgeous Jerzey Jancowicz - if I were a bit younger................................................ grin

Bimbledorf Fri 05-Jul-13 11:05:19

The 'Poleveriser' smile

Chubfuddler Fri 05-Jul-13 11:05:57

Doing a proper linkie on an iPhone was hard enough without trying to google how to spell his name as well.

siezethenight Fri 05-Jul-13 11:05:58

Oh, I feel sorry for the other one. He's been completely overlooked - will this mean he will get a sneaky win in shock

PetiteRaleuse Fri 05-Jul-13 11:16:03

Woooo my favourite tennis day of the year.

Raahh Fri 05-Jul-13 11:17:12

sieze- I think a lot of people are going to think Janowicz has no chance. I've a feeling hope they may be disappointedgrin- certainly if he plays the way he did Wednesday. And there was hardly any support, for either player, and all they could hear was constant mutterings and roars from Centre Court. I think he'll thrive on being the underdog- and has a huge serve.

siezethenight Fri 05-Jul-13 11:22:32

I am always wary of the underdog in any walk of life because I reckon the underdog is the person with absolutely nothing to loose and absolutely everything to gain. And does not care one hoot what others think of him/her because he/she is already, at the start - the underdog.
I never count a person out, I really do not in any walk of life. I think the underdog is more often than not, the more dangerous person. Argh! I can't wait - wish it had all started already...

Maryz Fri 05-Jul-13 11:23:31

Ooh, I do like the tenniss grin

Just marking place for later.

siezethenight Fri 05-Jul-13 11:24:31

And thank you badkitten for the weather report earlier this week - as I said back then - quilts are washed and on the line as I type. I did them all last night in anticipation of today's fine weather. Thanks grin

JaquelineHyde Fri 05-Jul-13 11:28:12

Posted on the end of the last one, marking my place here for later.

Chubfuddler Fri 05-Jul-13 11:28:46

I think he's got a very good chance. I just don't want him to win.

I think it will go to 5 sets but andy will win.

PetiteRaleuse Fri 05-Jul-13 11:29:05

I don't want to say it but I think we might have a Serb-Polish final. I really want Murray to win, and really hope I am wrong.

Raahh Fri 05-Jul-13 11:35:26

I Del Potato /Janowicz final would be a real battle of the giants- 6ft 6 versus 6ft 8. grin That's 2 whole feet taller than me. Scary. tennis

NotAQueef Fri 05-Jul-13 11:37:57

tennis tennis tennis
Hurry up tennis!

magimedi Fri 05-Jul-13 11:38:39

I too would like a Del Potro / Janowicz final!

Raahh Fri 05-Jul-13 11:39:35

Wheel chair tennis! Didn't the woman who had never lost a match in donkey's years recently retire?

Maryz Fri 05-Jul-13 11:46:27

If it goes to five sets, Murray will be too knackered to cope with the final at all.

Chubfuddler Fri 05-Jul-13 11:48:12

That is the potential problem maryz. Unless he can get he of some of potato's magic calpol.
