Anyone going to watch?

LadyBeagleEyes Thu 09-May-13 22:37:00

Hope you can get in touch again LaQueen.

limitedperiodonly Thu 09-May-13 22:32:36

Come on. That'll be 110mph in ApprenticeMyselfnessSpeak.

LaQueen Thu 09-May-13 22:22:20

I might google her new name?

There's no way she'd be on MN...she would be waaaaay too busy, always lived life at 100mph smile

LadyBeagleEyes Thu 09-May-13 22:16:25

I really hope you can find a way to get in touch with her again LaQueen.
Maybe you could try Twitter?

LaQueen Thu 09-May-13 22:14:09

Lady definitely...I think they were deliberately trying to make her appear cartoon-ish.

Yes, she was always very energised and motivated - but she was as sharp as a whip, and intellectually could have easily wiped the floor with any of the other women in that team (except perhaps the doctor).

LaQueen Thu 09-May-13 22:11:55

Yes, I saw it - and I was 'Hang on...that looks just like it can't be...oh my God it is...DH look it's XYZ on the TV' shock

We lost touch when she was doing her BEd, but she would have been an amazing primary school teacher. I assumed she'd have been a HT by now, she was very motivated, and ambitious.

She was absolutely mad-cap at college, always lots of fun. We met doing O Level Drama together (she was a very talented actress), and were very quickly best friends for the next couple of years. Had some of the happiest times of my life with her smile

I was with her, the first time she had hair extensions put it...I sat with her for 9 hours, whilst the woman did it.

LadyBeagleEyes Thu 09-May-13 22:11:39

She was indeed lovely on the Dara show.
It's a shame she left so early as I really liked her.
It's all in the editing though, isn't it?

limitedperiodonly Thu 09-May-13 22:06:26

If you didn't see the episode, she was very positive in a children's entertainer-type way. Make of that what you will grin

I didn't watch the Dara aftershow, but those who did said she was lovely.

LaQueen Thu 09-May-13 21:59:03

Aw - I'm not going to out her, with her real name on here. If she wants to be Jaz now, then that's up to her.

She's actually 41 - and it says so on her BBC profile.

She was utterly, utterly lovely at college, and one of the most energetic, positive people I have ever met. Very quick witted, and great company smile

If she's on MN, I would love her to PM me smile

limitedperiodonly Thu 09-May-13 21:37:50

And what was her name?

<<please let it be Sideshow Bob>>

limitedperiodonly Thu 09-May-13 21:36:26

Hang on LaQueen. We thought Mr Silver Miles McFoxness was the eldest at 39.

Is Sideshow Bob the same vintage? She looked a bit younger.

LaQueen Thu 09-May-13 20:40:08

Ahem...coming to this vair late...but, I'll have you know, that Jaz was actually one of my best friends at sixth form college...we lost touch about 15 years ago, it was one helluva shock to see her on The Apprentice.

She wasn't called Jaz, back then though.

smile Think I might go and catch up with the other one now though Maryz
..... see you over there ?

< slow on the uptake blush >

Maryz Thu 09-May-13 20:06:07

We could stay here and have our own private chat, and make up our own nicknames except I'd be no use as I have no idea who any of them are

smile I still rather like this one ....

Maryz Thu 09-May-13 19:36:37

Yes, where is the "link for Maryz" that I need because I is fick?

Ah, but you didn't say here is a lovely new thread everyone did you Tee.
You were all cryptic about Sue or something confused

Anyway, I did enjoy last night's show too.
I want to find some raspberry beer now as that's what I'd have made - thought rhubarb and caramel sounded pretty good. They should have won, not horrible chocolate and orange, in beer ??!

Tee2072 Thu 09-May-13 10:09:25

It was hardly a secret Maryz! I put the link right there! ^

Maryz Thu 09-May-13 08:18:14

They went and made a new one and didn't tell me

Lucylloyd13 Thu 09-May-13 08:12:54

Always fascinating to see how women balance their feminininity with doing what it takes to be successful.

nametakenagain Wed 08-May-13 21:51:24

Tis a little bit - but we like it!

amothersplaceisinthewrong Wed 08-May-13 21:23:42

It's pure comedy. ANd utterly ridiculous. And way past it's sell by date.

Chubfuddler Wed 08-May-13 21:02:01

Hi chipping we've started another thread linked up above

ChippingInLovesSunshine Wed 08-May-13 21:00:38

Evening all smile

I think it's shit. Delicious, jaw-dropping, swear at the telly shit.
And never boring, not with a MN bitch-along thread.
