Anyone else see it? It's not exactly what I thought but I will stay with it. That bit with the elderly lady was horrible.

I really enjoyed it Smile

Not a big gore fest but I liked that - nicely character driven. I loved the Warm Bodies film and that was a 'thinky' zombie film too.

I agree though, that part with the neighbours wife was very upsetting. Sad

I liked it bit DH was disappointed by the lack of gore. Really annoys me when they give away the whole of the next episode in the end credits though.

I liked it but DP got bored and went to bed. I wonder what happened to make the dead rise in 2009?

I liked it, but dh likes his zombies to be rabid. Grin. His comments at the end were "Well won't have to watch it next week now we've seen it all" and "It's not the Walking Dead is it?"

I quite enjoyed that different slant on it though - the fact that they were not going around infecting people and eating bits at random. It's only a 3 parter so it should move along quickly.

I like the fact that ex-zombies might feel guilty about what they did. Or not.

I liked it. Dozed off during the first bit with the neighbours wife Blush but think I got the gist. Missed the bit about why he was so anti their return to the community though but I'm guessing it was a smokescreen. I'm planning to confirm this via iplayer later but will defo be tuning in again.

I think the Ricky Tomlinson character was just using being anti as a smokescreen. That is probably why he was so adamant about getting in the car when the parents were bringing Kieren home, to confide in them about his wife. There wasn't really much with his wife at the beginning, she saw them bundling Kieren into the house but you were led to think she was conflicted about whether to tell.

I liked this too. I thought it gave a different and interesting twist on the zombie genre as, typically, there isn't anywhere to go with this and they often just turn in to post-zombie apocalypse survivalist stories.

We all laughed out loud at the term Partially Deceased Syndrome and the subsequent references to PDS sufferers.

I will definitely be watching this next week

I got a synopsis from my 16 yr old the other day.

I didn't realise it was a British production.

Think I'll give it a go.

I liked it.

Interesting to have a drama about zombies though! Was expecting it to play a bit more for laughs, but actually I enjoyed the thoughtfulness (if that's a word) of it.

Although PDS is hilarious in itself is a hilarious concept Grin
