They are so winding me up!

Jakey is grating my carrot. Feel sorry for 'Kirst'. Fancy not being swayed by a shower room of her own. hmm

Horsemad Wed 30-Jan-13 09:29:52

Feel sorry for the daughter, horrible choice to make.

Jeez scone that is shocking. A week??? shock

How do they know if they're overpriced? Are they comparing them to UK prices?

And how old is the grumpy teen?

MrsReiver Wed 30-Jan-13 09:30:43

DH is an accountant - I'll be watching this bit closely grin

EightToSixer Wed 30-Jan-13 09:31:05

Would you not wear a suit jacket or even a tie to a job interview?

Does Trudy work?

Why does the Mum dress like a teenager?

Oh yes.

We had a great time for 2 years in Oz, but there's no place like home imo

SomeBear Wed 30-Jan-13 09:32:20

I'm tutting at the lack of tie and the chair swinging...

Being an accountant he will be up against all the Saffers ....

You have more reason to be tutting than most then scone. grin

Oodsigma Wed 30-Jan-13 09:32:57

Getting the impression that teenager is an afterthought sad

Ooh the budget bit. Should be fun.

DevaDiva Wed 30-Jan-13 09:33:50

Phew found you, thanks for the redirect Sparkling. I'm glad I didn't see this one first time round might be a bit bored if I had.

DowntonTrout Wed 30-Jan-13 09:33:54

I'm not sure I can tut at pushy parents making their kids go if they don't want to. I think, until they are adults it's up to parents to make what they consider to be the best decision for them.

I hate the home family video bits. It's emotional blackmail. I do tut at that- and think selfish, selfish! When DS said that he and his GF were thinking of going- she would be the primary applicant as a children's nurse, I said go for it while you're young and have no ties. He was a bit upset and we both ended up crying.

Oh my god! I just spotted that bathroom! What were they thinking?

MrsReiver Wed 30-Jan-13 09:34:04

shock Might have to have a chat with DH this evening.

Yeah, I think Jakey MIGHT be a bit spoilt!!! Check out that room!!!

hahahahahahahahaha

EightToSixer Wed 30-Jan-13 09:34:34

Why do they always over-estimate what their house is worth?

MrsReiver Wed 30-Jan-13 09:35:21

I hope they factored in the cost of Jakey's Lego habit in their budget. That Star Wars stuff is extortionate.

I thought that MrsR. Spoilt Jakey.

DowntonTrout Wed 30-Jan-13 09:36:24

I think the mum has had a bit too much sun!

Ooh here we go-outdoor lifestyle, cos no outdoors in Wales. wink

Up at 6am for Ozzie Boot Camp. Fab. hmm

How much did they think their house was worth? I missed the beginning.

If she comes after her degree, surely she'll have to have her own visa and job opportunities.

My friend went to live in Perth for a year, she hated it. V expensive and boring she said
