I'd ike to buy him something that we can watch together so not violent. Neither of us watch much TV but in the winter it would be quite nice to snuggle up in froth of the fire and watch something together.
So, your suggestions please.
either light hearted comedy nut not slap stick or something a bit heavier but not violent or too futuristic.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Big Bang Theory. Simply the funniest thing on the box.
The Wire. Fantastic tv.
Being Human. Really good British supernatural drama.
The Killing. If you can hack subtitles it's the best crime drama that's been on in years.

Father Ted cos' it is still funny.
Phoenix Nights
West Wing ( I lurve it)

I have just bought The Wire for DP. Surprised to see it is an 18 ? Why is it the sex, violence or drugs?

Supernatural ( a bit gory and spooky but not too bad)
LOST (best ever series!)
Prison Break
Blackpool
Bad Girls
Father Ted
Inbetweeners (if you like the humour)
Gavin and Stacey
24 (amazing!)

I would go with 24 or LOSt if you haven't seen. Most people I know love them.

pancake the wire is rated 18 as lots of drugs and violence, although not much blood is seen. Just finished watching all seasons and would definitely recommend! Had to watch it with subtitles though as found it very hard to understand baltimore accent..

I've just ordered Breaking Bad, seasons 1 to 4, after having it recommended by a lot of people who've seen it and have taste in good telly.
