It is my newest guilty pleasure.
No idea, sorry.
I daren't read the whole thread for spoilers but I missed the last episode and it's already off iplayer
Anyone know where I can watch the last episode?
fake Goebbels was trying to protect her, no one explained why. I also have a vague recollection of half-finger but I don't know why. I thought he was the hit man that fake Goebbels killed in the oast houses, but I may have made that up...
Belatedly found this thread... anyone have a clue who half-finger was then? Someone said above we saw him before, I have a vague recollection (maybe).
And who was fake Goebbels and why did he want Sam?
V confused...
Exactly. It's great to have a series with a strong, cool, female lead who doesn't have to take her clothes off in every episode. The characters and the acting were mostly very good - Jack Turner was incredibly creepy.
The filming was good, it's just the writing let it down a bit, and MG's accent, but that could improve.
Does anyone remember YellowthreadStreet from about 20 years ago? A gang thriller set in Hong Kong. Also bad scripts and a dodgy storyline, but I loved it. They never made more then one series.
I am ashamed to say I am hoping for a second series, too. Just so that those 8 hours of my life would not totally be wasted. I need answers, please!
Thoroughly confused still, I'm hoping for a 2nd series!!!
There are loose ends but that's presumably because they want to make another series.
I really enjoyed it. Mostly the acting was good, MG's accent can only get better. I would watch another series, as long it's accompanied by that blog.
Too many loose ends which is a shame
Aha! Cinemax are trying to figure out a way to make a second series without the BBC here
So it's not just me then who had no clue what was going on - I was beginning to feel really stupid. Yes - the baby did look like and Amazon delivery
I just knew her 'lost' baby would turn up at the end of it. She was shot too far to the left of her abdomen so she didn't lose the baby. Presumably she was 2/3 months pregnant then.
Yeah ,the locker .
Sam was shown looking at the key and I assumed she hadn't looked .
Wonder who the person was who delivered the baby to Sam at the end .
I particularly loved the bit where Sam managed not to be drowned in bath by Chisholm person even though went on for hours .
And then she managed to chuck him over bannisters .
All while suffering from effects of poison .
Also who was Aiden and what was in his MI6 file in Tottenham Court Road secret locker???
I gave up caring... Too many loose ends for my brain to follow!
Ooo. That makes a lot of sense about the baby Easy . Still don't understand the half fingered man...
There might still be a second series, it's a co-production with Cinemax, so they could make one anyway, and sell it to someone like Living or Sky One. It might be a bit glossier if they do, but it's a chance, much like what happened with Strike Back.
The baby was supposed to be the baby she lost when she got shot originally, wasn't it? As in, she didn't lose it but told 'Aidan' she did. The training at the beginning was from after she had the baby. I think she was supposed to be about 3 months when she got shot, then it was a year til she turned up in the office, then a month or so wearing strange hats and getting attacked in London, so the baby would be 6-7 months old-ish?
The main question I have from last night is whether Deacon was still working for Byzantium when he shot her. I can't decide if it was Keel's plan to keep her alive, or whether she enlisted Deacon directly after his attack of conscience.
The ending was shite. They should have just left her in the river.
Bring back spooks!
On wikipedia they are saying that there was going to be a second series but the bbc has decided not to.
Now we may never find out wtf happened!! Things like this really bug me
WTF!!!???? Just found this thread after watching and being totally
They (Deacon/Byzantium) shot her before the other people could maybe so she could survive.
The half finger man-I know we saw before but I can't remember who....maybe Davey???
But WTAF is the baby all about? If it was hers and Aidens baby it was too young and how did she do all that training before v v v pregnant.
If she was pregnant by Stephen (she was sick whilst running) then the baby was way too old.
So what was that all about?
Has it been left like that for a second series? I need to know what on earth happened!!!
Arrrrrrgggghhhh. What just happened? I am very confused. DH says she ordered the baby on Amazon.
Completely agree notnow WTF is exactly what I thought.....
a) how what why did she survive again....
b) who was Mr Half finger
c) who's baby - if that was her's and whathis names from the first shooting, was it old enough???
d) why did know one try and find her at her family home again...
e) just wtf
So Byzantium pretended to kill her?
Bloody mystifying. Whose was the baby 'one month later'? Pretty sure she wasn't eight months pregnant when she got shot. What did she remember? Was the weird looking man trying to protect her or kill her? Did anyone get their comeuppance? Just...WTF?
Who was the baby/where did it come from?
