I found a video clip on Youtube and a statement thanking fans for their support. Yes, glad he's getting help.
He was playing Colin Osbourne. Just found this www1.skysports.com/darts/news/12288/8158847/Darts-star-James-Wade-back-having-treatment-after-World-Grand-Prix-exit-in-Dublin. Good to know he is getting help anyway.
That's sad, I didn't know about the bipolar. We watch the PDC World Championships avidly at Christmas but only watch other events occasionally. My DCs love it. Who was he playing?
He just seemed to break down during the game and was very close to tears. He kept looking at his girlfriend and she looked so sad too. He basically threw the match just to get off stage. I know he suffers from bi-polar.
What happened? I'm an intermittent darts follower. Wade isn't one of my favourites TBH, but he has grown on me the last couple of years.
Anyone watching? Was very sad to see James Wade so upset , hope he is ok.
