I thought the whoe point was to show how people who are struggling slip through the net,
. On the one hand we have Lola who is coping well yet getting too much interference from Social services and on the other, Michael... Professional, responsible but sinking and unable to cope.

I don't think he'll hurt her but he needs help and support. If he were the mother you would assume PND.
