are there (almost) never polish builders shown?
I thought you were going to ask why they are building a minimalist, concrete cube house on a perfectly nice garden in Brixton. And why they keep whining about having no money
He reminds me of David Brent
If ever there was a couple I wanted to get pregnant in the middle of a build, it's these. Can you imagine the turmoil of your perfect concrete and chipboard interior being sullied with crates of peppa pig and fireman Sam plastic tat...
Can you imagine I would wheel round a first Steps Vtech baby walker...puppy says, clap your hands!
At least Ikea try to hide their chipboard
I can just imagine it.I like the glas panels.
You could paint all the brio the same slate grey. Technic Lego only.
just imagine the echo.hel hel lo lo pu pu py py
How do you clean all that glass?
She would be a 'wooden toys only' mum - until one is lobbed at the glass wall...
I hated that bloody MDF barn.
that mdf barn reminded me of a bunkhouse in sweden were we spent a night when camping. it just looks so... unfinished
oh, have you seen the staircase? topple at the top and you are all the way down.
Barn did look like a camping barn. This house I think looks awful against the other houses, too much of a visual shock and so imposing.
How well does crayon work on plywood? Very effective I should think.
This house leaves me cold I am afraid, totally lacking in any warmth or atmosphere and the chipboard just looks really scratchy and uncomfy...
it does look out of place.
last week's was cool, though.
I doubt they give a flying triple glazed panel what us petit bourgeoisie think of their harsh chipboard. They're designers, dahhhhhling. Artists. [secretly wish I could be that different]
yuk! looks like it's made of strips of ice.
I can't believe they managed to sell the barn & who has 4 beds in a bedroom?!?
my DD would love to paint on those walls. it's a toddlers dream, the sticky finger prints, mushy pea's on the ceiling, pee stains on the concrete.
Ive decided I don't like minimalism.
But whyyyy were there 4 single beds in one room in the Norfolk barn? What did they do in there? And is that linked to wanting to live in a big glass box in Brixton?Mark my words, the one concession to non-minalism will be a giant pampas grass, which will be revealed in the closing short (maybe).
