I am beside myself with excitement. Trailer here - who's putting the contacts in? Is that Carrie in a disguise? Any one else agog?

Have I missed the finale? Was it the episode where they parted company in the wood?

Thanks everyone for the show suggestions, spoiled for choice to get me through the off season smile

Now I am wondering if I have a mid Atlantic drawl? I sometimes get mistaken for having an Irish accent, but for me it seems I am speaking how I always have. Gwenyth, does a very good English Accent--What about Rene Zellwegger (sp?) in Bridget Jones? Sorry for mini hijack, accents are interesting to me.

How crazy to see Damien Lewis on the tube! I would definitely be star struck by that.

Hassled- are you going to start the new thread for the last show?

My dh laughs at me, at how I need to check in with "my girls" before and after every episode! Of course, he also makes me tell him all of your theories.

4 more sleeps, not Christmas--Homeland!!

donnie Wed 19-Dec-12 14:35:21

so who is going to take the Quinn by the arse bull by the horns and start a new thread ? grin this one is too big!!!!

HalleLouja Wed 19-Dec-12 13:26:11

Apparently they are making a 24 film. I miss a bit of Jack.

Seeing brody in the flesh - would be good!

Last episode smile - lips sealed - DH says that a 3rd series has been confirmed.

I want 7 series like 24 - just too exhilarating to say no!! wink

Hassled- he was also in Criminal Minds

St Saul is such a good actor, so understated.

cocolepew Tue 18-Dec-12 22:54:23

Yes it was!

gypsyfloss Tue 18-Dec-12 22:48:33

Oh Coco , was it good?

Hassled Tue 18-Dec-12 22:40:49

I am so THICK - I didn't know where I knew St Saul/Mandy from but I knew I'd seen him in something. Tonight DS2 was poking around the DVDs looking for something to watch and found Dead Like Me - and there was St Saul himself! Dead Like Me was a brilliant show - Mandy was Chief Reaper. If anyone's pining for a bit of older man smiley loveliness after next Sunday, watch Dead Like Me.

Puffpants I am.

Mind you, did I tell you that I have seen Damo at a small boutique hotel in the back of beyond in Wales swoons? grin

Timetoask Tue 18-Dec-12 21:13:17

digestiveandacupoftea sorry, have only just seen your question for me... We have an IMAC, decided to do this mainly because we never have time to watch the programs we like when they are on, so decided to get something we could use as a tv and computer at the same time.... (DH is apple fanatic!)

cocolepew Tue 18-Dec-12 21:02:11

1 minute to go......

cocolepew Tue 18-Dec-12 20:57:42

Another brilliant programme is Southland about LA police, it's shot a bit like a documentary. It's just finishing on More4 <helpful hmm>

cocolepew Tue 18-Dec-12 20:55:02

Basildon, I watch it on RTE, I'm in NI and get it through Sky, I don't know if its on all Sky.

Hassled Tue 18-Dec-12 19:59:24

I have heard the mid-Atlantic thing - all that time at Eton wasted for Homeland grin.

And I was very impressed at Brodie on the Central Line - did your DH speak to him, or just stare? I think I'd have been a starer.

PuffPants Tue 18-Dec-12 19:51:12

Hassled, have you heard Damian Lewis speaking in his "english" accent? He has an awful mid-Atlantic drawl, I suppose from spending so long out there and using an american accent. His intonation is absolutely US, that's why they are fooled by his accent. He goes up at the end of his sentences and does that "blah blah...right?" thing.

David Harewood, on the other hand, is a proper brummy! And Rupert Friend is still quite posh...love him.

Btw, is nobody even a bit impressed that Brody was on the central line this morning? I think it's made DH's Christmas grin

diddl Tue 18-Dec-12 19:11:16

I watch through Movie2k.

I don´t download or pass on to anyone else.

It´s already been shown in USA before it´s put up.

whoneedstosleep Tue 18-Dec-12 19:09:56

I watch online through tv links website. I hope it's legal!?? I didn't have to download anything.

Hassled Tue 18-Dec-12 19:06:50

I'm stupidly pleased that the British actors' accents are so good to an American's ears. That's made me chuffed to bits. Best British accent by an American - Gwyneth Paltrow in Sliding Doors. That was spot on.

I'm also waiting for Sunday unless it appears that I can't on account of my pesky family - in which case yes, how exactly do you cheat?

And to paraphrase Jaws - we're going to need a bigger thread.

basildonbond Tue 18-Dec-12 18:28:35

At the risk of sounding all self-righteous and po-faced, those of you who've watched it early, have you done so legally - and if so, where please? I'm not going to be able to watch it on Sunday and I think the pent-up tension might make me explode ...

cocolepew Tue 18-Dec-12 17:21:20

I'm watching the last one tonight shock

digestiveandacupoftea Tue 18-Dec-12 15:39:19

I noticed the body language between Quinn and Carrie at the warehouse - he seemed to be trying to look after her which makes me think the theory about him not being able to go through with killing Brody could be right.
