Thank goodness it's not just me then - felt very silly setting it up on the series link on Sky+!!
I was absolutely stunned by Prodijig, I normally much prefer street dance but can't wait to see more of these!

So who did you lot like this week?
My favs:
Fear of the Unknown were fantastic, the freestyler was amazing. Loved the guys who are together only 3 months. And the first pole dancer.
Lots of amazing dancing, can't wait to see who makes the live shows.

I agree totally MCos. Even my 5 yr old is hooked, although of course now he wants dance lessons - lol!
Not watched this before, but my 3 DDs are really enjoying it so far. Agree that Prodijig were amazing and so were that group of lads who'd only been together 3 months.
We needed a dance show to fill in the gap between strictly and so you think you can dance
.
We are enjoying this too. I also have a bit of sad Ashely Banjo letch thing going on, although I suspect technically he could be my son )if I had stated quite early....). DH is most miffed by Kimberley Wyatts overly bleached hair and hooker make-up as he reckons she now looks awful and he has no one to perve over.
tkband3 - hate to tell you but I think 'So you think you can dance' has been cancelled.....

Can confirm SYTYCD is cancelled in UK. Nigel tweeted it last year. I'm so cross with BBC about it.
So sad, especially since S2 was so much better than S1, I was thinking S3 would have been great.
So will get my dance fix from Got to Dance, and SYTYCD US downloads.
Cant remember if Gingerbread Man were on e3 or e4. I watched both episodes last night.
Oh no
DDs will be really disappointed that SYTYCD has been cancelled. What a shame...last year's series was so good and Matt Flint is amazing. This dance was one of my favourites. Didn't the boys also do a version of swan lake? I can't find that one anywhere.
Think Gingerbread Man was episode 3 this week with Boudicca; episode 4 had Fear of the Unknown and the boys who had only been together 3 months I think.
I love Got To Dance, so much more inspiring than X factor. Love the judges too.

Anyone watch last night? Lovely to see Luke back this year, love how he has improved and grown up so much in the past year. The Ballet dads were so funny, glad they got the 3 gold stars.

luke was fab, dadversity were hilarious. Makem Moverwas fun.
My fave were the Hoofer and the Irish lass doing the Hip-hop, she had such a fluidity despite doing the ticking.. and the B-Boy.. he was amazing when he cut out the contemporary dance bollox.
Luke was very good - and the hip-hop group from Hartlepool (forgotten name?) Also though Dadversity were funny. Loving Ashley and Adam's cheerleading
.

Any surprises for you in the semi-final picks? Any favorites at this stage?
Looking at the list of semi-finalists, I'll name my favorites at this stage as
- Prodijig
- A Hoofers Song
- Dharmz
- Fear of the Unknown
- Sapnay
- Unity UK
But I like lots of the others also. And I don't remember some of the acts selected.
I'm looking forward to a few Sunday's of great dancing!

Does anybody remember the format for the semi-finals? Is it one or two acts are selected to progress to next stage?
Is unity the dance act from the east end of London? If so then I thought they were really good. I also liked the Urban Jokers.
I think its 2 from each show to get through to the final.
I was at an audition last September in Glasgow and saw Mya, the little 6 year old called Sweet Surprise who danced to Bjork. I think she was fantastic and pleased that someone I saw actually made it to the live shows!

Unity is the act from east London.
I am not remembering Mya, I'll have to check her out on Sky.
I really liked Urban Jokers too.

Just checked out Mya - I do remember her, she is fantastic.
Website says 'Age 7. Mya comes from a dancing family and has been trained by her mum Elaine. Mya took her first class at the age of four and now trains up to 15 hours a week.' Wow. Well, it shows.
