You have to hand it to Mike Bullen - he's cornered the market in cosy comedy dramas. First he wrote Cold Feet (about falling in love), then Life Begins (about falling out of love) and now there's All about George (falling in love again). The eponymous George (Rik Mayall) is a good-hearted man who tries to do his best for everyone - kids, stepkids, ex-wife, current wife, parents and grandparents. Consequently, his house is bursting at the seams. But George isn't fazed, such is his greatness of soul. It's the kind of comedy where people make a fuss about anniversaries and attend golf club dinners. The cast is terrific and the whole thing is just so nice, you'll probably want to cheer.
