.........please tell me teenage boys are nicer...pleeaassseeee i can't go through this again.

I could seriously slap her, she is so big headed! Snidey comments as she walks up the stairs......arrrgghhhhh!!!!!!!!!

She has just handed me a letter-she is meant to be going kayaking tomorrow for a school trip-she says she is not doing it as she dosen't like the sea.......what the f**k am i supposed to do about it??? She should have told her teacher so another child could have had a lovely time out...but noooo that would be far too organised for DD to do! So she is expecting that her younger brother-who is nothing to do with the environment council should take her place.....he is not a good swimmer, and she thinks i am being harsh for not letting him do it. (not that he would be alowed anyway)More like she is trying to wriggle out of getting in trouble with her teacher!

ohhhh the list goes on..........

She gets on fine with her dad, she dosen't seem to wind him up as much.

...lol

How old?

My ds is 14, and gives me no lip or trouble (sorry)

Don't cover for her. Let her face the music at school.

Ds1 once refused to go into school when he was about 14. I informed the school that he was absent, but for no good reason. (He really was just pulling a fast one).

His teacher phoned, and I handed the phone to him so she could speak to him . His face was a picture.

Sounds like my DD when she was that age - snidey and big headed.

DS is 16 and is much easier to deal with.

I was actually a really nice teenager....(i think!)...so not understanding this at all, she must get it from her father.

I have a teenage boy and he's lovely, mind you I have a much younger daughter, so I've got all this to look forward to, eh?

You have all my sympathy - teenage girls are just hideous. My DS1 was a lot easier at home - he's always been placid and laid-back - but got into lots of trouble at school, whereas the she-witch DD was a little angel at school. They're both past the nightmare stage now, thank God - but I'm prepared for the next 2 to go through it all!
