I cant stand it anymore. My daughter is 12 years old and 160 pounds. She feals so bad because she isnt tiny like her friends or the other girls in her class. We went shopping this weekend and she had to shop in the ladies department. I saw her looking at the clothes that normal 12 year olds were and she looked so sad. When we go shoping I always make my kids try on their clothes so we dont have to go back and exchange them after words. She went in first and then a few minutes later i brought her little sister in and put her in the stall a few doors down. I went to go check on my older daughter and as i got to the door i could hear her crying. I didnt call her out on it but my eyes started watering. She used to adore shopping when she was little, but then she put on the weight and now she thinks shes not pretty enough. Shes so beautiful to. Brown hair and brown eyes and she has the biggest heart also. I want to help her loose weight i just dont know how. can anyone help?

My friends little girl was exactly like that at 12. She took up dance - went with her little sister. Now at 16 she is quite a lot slimmer but still a big girl. But the dancing lessons gave her so much confidence, and taught her how to move so well and fluidly that she looks beautiful ( she is beautiful actually). Also her friends have caught her up in height and that helps too.
