WHERE can I get XL single bed for 6ft4in DS in UK?

Poor DS has his feet hanging over the edge of his 185cm bed Blush and I promised I'd sort it out this holiday.
But I can't believe how difficult it seems to find a longer single bed?!

Can't fit a double in (and standard doubles are only 190cm long anyway)
Really need 205/210 cm long?
Probably 90cm wide, but I'm looking to see if we might be able to squeeze in a 'small double' up to 120cm wide in.

I've found a few things online, but am reluctant to fork out for a bed we haven't seen/tried, so would ideally like to find a store in SE England to look at them first.
IKEA do beds up to 200cm I know, but I've never found IKEA beds/sofas that good quality.
Any ideas?

I've been bed hunting in IKEA for ds. He's only 2 but because of this and the fact I am soft we tried out every bed in the shop to try and find a bed that was just right --bloody Goldilocks has a lot to answer for even the really basic frame and mattress option was surprisingly comfy. I would definitely recommend going to look.

There is a website called longbeds. So far I've ordered a sheet from them and it was fine. Can't vouch for the beds.

Ds2 (6'2 or 3) and ds3 (6') each have an IKEA Flaxa which is 90 x 200 cm and has space for storage underneath.

My daughter is 5"6 and she talking about when she gets bigger are her feet just going to dangle off the end of the bed. You may have to get a local chippy to make one for you. Just get the wood and ask him to build one, they wouldn't be too expensive and you'd have it for life.

I know u said no to a double but when dh and I were looking for a bed I dragged him with me, and we ended up finding one in dreams and he's 6ft 7.

I made a little free standing shelf unit to go on the end of my 6'7" son's single bed. I made it the right height so that a cushion on top (actually a bit of an old futon) would be the same height as the top of the mattress. Then I used brackets to screw the shelf unit to the end of the bed and sewed the cushion to the end of the mattress.

Quite proud of it BUT we never really sorted out the sheets, use double sheets and they are always coming off. No dangling feet though...

Warren Evans can make some frames and mattresses in custom sizes.
I love Warren Evans.

My DH is 6 ft 5, and we found a website called Purelybeds that does long-sized beds and mattresses for not much ££.
