I posted a few months back about said daughter getting drunk for the second time and passing out. Sadly she seems to have developed a pattern - almost every time she goes out, she drinks too much and either goes to sleep in a corner or throws up. In the morning she's mortified and says she won't do it again. Most of her friends seem to be sensible about drink and don't overdo it. We have a very good and open relationship and we've had all the chats about booze. She always promises she won't do it again but fails.

She's been grounded in the past and this time I've told her if it happens again, she won't be going to the Reading Festival at the end of August (ticket already bought). She's told me that she doesn't want to drink at all for a while but this remains to be seen. I'm especially concerned as I have a history of alcohol problems myself and they started in the same way. I'd hate her to to go down the same path I did and wonder if there's anything more I can do.
