My 13 year old has ordered Viagra off the internet

So this morning a thin envelope arrived for my son. It looked unusual for him to get mail from that location so I felt the envelope and realised there was a tablet inside. I opened it and there was a viagra tablet.
I plan to sit down and have a robust conversation about ordering prescription drugs, the potential impact of taking that viagra and giving out credit card details to a clearly disreputable source. Final warning or he loses his internet privileges.
He is obviously curious but it is an idiotic move.

Any other words of wisdom?

I think there is also a more delicate conversation to be had. Is he worried about his development? What did he hope to get from viagra? Is he having problems down there?

He has a Gohenry card with monthly allowance going in. Trying to teach him about responsible spending!

There's a couple of youtubers who play pranks on each other, one very popular one was sneaking Viagra into a drink (apparently).
Could this be an explanation?

Re a more sensitive conversation is it one for Dad do you think?

I hadn't thought about spiking someone else. That would be appalling, but possible I guess.

I would also stress that he has no way of knowing that the tablets are viagra, and not rat poison or milk powder. If you get medicines off your GP, you know what they are, if you get what someone wants to send you, which is not the same thing.

silly boy, you can buy it for pennies in Wilkinsons....

so you can add financial stupidity to the list.

You might want to consider the card compromised and get it replaced.

Viagra with a Red Bull and Smirnoff chaser was a favourite party-starter among some of the 19-year-olds when I worked in a foundry. Even though teenagers have no medical need for it, they take it because it dilates the blood vessels and makes them, er, more vigorous when paralytic!
But, as said above, buying any pharmaceuticals online is daft; there's no guarantee that he's getting what he thinks he ordered.
