Not sure what to do really. My two aren't fussed about chocolate and boxed Easter eggs are such a swizz.

Ours don't get anything.

Ours get eggs, but they like chocolate, so would be disappointed if they didn't. Not big ones, though.

I am leaning towards that Remus. Grin

When they were younger we got them a DVD or something.

I think they should buy me an Easter Egg really.

A few chocolates, an i-tunes gift card, and one or two small things that didn't make it into the stocking at Christmas! Grin

Mine gets one really nice egg, but he likes chocolate so I don't mind splashing out. That's all he's getting though. He might get a fiver from his gran or something as well, but we don't make a big deal of Easter really.

Mine get an egg each off me

Their dad gives them £20 each but i'm not really sure why

I think my two teens would be quite put out of they didn't get an egg!

We'll still do a little egg hunt for ds2 who is 7 and they're usually more than happy to join in. Have never done presents or given anything other than chocolate eggs anyway.

I am thinking a fiver each. Mum will probably give them money and Creme Eggs as is tradition.

Luckily I don't have anyone to buy any eggs for, I know some families have to get ones for everyone.

When little they used to get a book and some Mini Eggs. Not got them anything for a good few years now. Dp sometimes buys them an egg once they are half price afterwards - I refuse to buy them as it's all packaging!

And I don't understand families buying loads for nieces, nephews, grandchildren etc.

The one who likes choc is getting choc, Dd is getting a Lush egg shaped bath bomb and other one who doesn't eat choc is getting Easter Pasta from Lakeland.

DD is 14 and has amassed 5 large eggs from family so far.

No me neither Remus. I hate to say it but when I see the mountains of eggs on FB that some children receive I always wonder what in earth they are going to do with them.

When I got to teenage years I told my parents not to get me one anymore, I don't really eat chocolate anyway and we aren't religious so don't see the point in celebrating Easter. I didn't expect anything in place of the egg

Mine sometimes get a small one from my mum but that's it. I know of a few people whose children get loads of eggs from all family members and chocolate lasts months!

I think my 17 year old would be very disappointed if he didn't get an Easter Egg - he adores chocolate & likes family traditions.

DD will become a teenager on Easter Sunday. She will get an Easter egg from us, and I know my parents, PILs and my sister have each get her an egg too. My parents and PILs also gave her some money too - though that is also because she is going away with school for a few days.

I think she'd be a bit disappointed to not receive an Easter egg.

Mine will be getting a £1 chocolate buttons egg. She doesnt even deserve that!

"...I always wonder what in earth they are going to do with them."

Eat them, over time.

Seems it's quite mixed. I think I do feel a bit weird not getting them eggs but they wouldn't be fussed.

And I do object to the price of Easter Eggs and the teeny tiny egg that actually comes out the box.

I put the selection boxes they had from Christmas in the loft and brought a few bars down at a time. Grin Went on for weeks.

Mine will each get a Lindt bunny, the 2 for £4 size and a packet of Lindt mini eggs. No grandparents or relations buy eggs. Sad

I usually do a gift bag. I get her a naice egg now, a t shirt, a costa card, a DVD, eyeliner - tbh Easter I get some bits and bobs they need or I would get them anyway and put them into a nice gift bag cos I love giving presents.
