How do I not panic?

Hi, help please, am worrying a tiny bit. Need some perspective. Back story - age 15 my DF died and I became anorexic. Lost months to hospital and still have weird habits, largely unnoticed by children, now at 40 I'm totally capable of meals out etc.
Dd has just refused a can of fizzy drink and earlier rejected supper - this varies between syrup cake, crumpets, toast, fruit slices, milk and buns etc.
Today's was a small piece of syrup cake.
She's talking about being healthy etc but I'm fast forwarding to anorexia/bulimia - it's all I know tbh of teenage girls - dsis was bulimic and very I'll, and I got pared up as some kind of mentor to anorexics when I went back to school. If you recognise me, please don't say!

It sounds to me like normal behaviour. Mine does that - goes on healthy eating for a while then reverts back to a 'what evers about' diet. Almost on one week off the next.
I hope that helps just a little.

Nerf, I am just posting to say hello and send best wishes. I don't know anything about the issues you raise but just wanted to tell you that I understand your concern. My teenage DD has friends with eating disorders and it sounds very worryingl. I hope someone with experience comes along soon to give you some advice. In the meantime I hope you get some advice from posters with experience.

Thank you heyho and browsers. I know that I just feel so incapable of anything like this - eating disorders just destroy everything fun in life (ime) and I don't want to over react to healthy eating but I don't want to miss anything.
