8.30 - 9pm on a school night depending on what he's doing. Coming in late earns a grounding.

Weekends I can go up to 10 but he's not a kick in the arse off 15 now.

!4 almost 15 dd has to be in at 8.30 school nights and only twice a week. Weekends later, we usually haggle over it 9.30/10.

My older 2 are 18 and 15 now, but, when they were 14, about 4pm, after school, unless they are doing something in the evening, in which case they come in however long it takes to get home after that thing finishes.

Never been able to see the point of it being a fixed time, more a case of, as long as they are not just 'hanging about'.

He comes straight home from school, but sometimes goes to church youth events or occasionally a movie night with friends. Often on a Sunday evening.

Whatever time I ask him to be home by, he tries to negotiate half an hour more.

His regular Sunday evening thing is usually finished by 9.30ish. So I suppose 9.40 would be the earliest.

The furthest he pushed it was a night with a 10.30 curfew in the holidays. He got home at 11.20. I was not happy.

Depends what he's are doing and how he's getting home. I would want to know pretty much what a 14 year old was doing and where he was anyway, so it wouldn't be an issue.

I go with what it is. DD doesn't ask to go out on school nights so im grateful for that. She might pop to town after school but home by 6. At weekends depends if its a party 10.30 but thats rare . She usually has friends to our house so home by 7ish usually without me asking just get bored by then!

4.10 when the school bus gets home.

We're in the middle if nowhere, so nowhere to go unless it's planned extracurricular stuff and I take her.
