The lock has broken on the glove compartment of my car, with ds1's phone and beats headphones inside! He is not happy, life cannot be endured without constant access to these devices. I am not happy as I will have to speak to men in garages. Arrgghh.

If your son was a proper teen deserving of funky headphones he'd have the lock broken in a trice. Does he know any feral teens in hoodies who could help him out in this emergency?! ;)

Haha alistron! Exactly. Or someone who fences stolen goods, who could sell him replacements, really cheap?! Wink

Er, no we live in a small rural town in Scotland not Hackney ( nothing wrong with Hackney). Most of the hoodies round here wear Abercrombie and Fitch and go to private school! DS can not contemplate organising his social life by old people methods like the home phone, he might accidentally have to speak to someone's mum.

DS1 is 13 and if his phone got accidentally locked away he would be distraught. But I would be Grin. Treat him to a five quid PAYG from Tesco, and some headphones from Poundland to tide him over.

All fixed, the car was under warranty so the garage have broken in and will replace the glove box ( I suspect DS yanked the handle in his teenage clumsy way but I didn't tell them that).

Phew. Is he hugging his phone and wearing his headphones? Grin
