May be this should be compulsory for all teens. Never mind the robot babies to look after LOL

DS has done work experience with kids this week. He has had 1 days with 2-3yr olds which he quite liked (they hero worshipped him of course and he read stories played and was generally climbed all over and wrapped round many very little fingers all day) .

Yesterday he did a day in nursery with the 1-2yr olds. I got home from work and he was sat on the sofa, barely able to move his eyes to watch the Murray match at Wimbledon Grin.

Apparently it was full on hard work all day and you couldn't settle to any activity without their being an incident to deal with. Hee Hee welcome to parenthood! He did say "grandkids are a long way off.... you so realise that don't you!"

( and he didn't even have to get involved in the mucky stuff not being able to change nappies etc)

Today I think is the 3-4yr olds and helping with the nursery "concert" so that should also be fun!

I agree entirely. My first ever job was volunteering in a creche. Put me off for years! :o

Also, dd1 is a mum now, and dd2 has said no way is she having kids any time soon.
