No more teenagers.

DD3 was 20 on Tuesday. So I no longer have any teenagers. Although because of her learning difficulties she still acts like a 15 year old. She's now looking at universities so I may not have any children at home soon.

In case anyone's wondering why I'm still called mumeee. I did try to change it but for some reason I wasn't able to.

wow what a trooper im envious i really am , what does it feel like ? i have 1 who is 19 soon and another who is 14 sooner and im exhausted with it all dd1 is worse than d2 still , but never mind WELL DONE YOU

Sigh, Lucky you. Some of us don't even start teenage era until 2013, and then we'll have 16 years of it!!!

One of my DSs was also 20 a few days ago. Still my kid, yes, grown up (ish) and all that, but honestly the same lad he always just, just taller, older (obviously) and a mite more mature.

(The further education thread under Education has lots of supportive posts about empty nests and, more practically, uni application etc etc stuff - worth looking at if you don't know it.)

My DD is 21 tomorrow! DS is 16, but he has never been any trouble as a Teen so we have escaped very lightly (just have DD's wedding to plan!)

My eldest is 20 this month ( others are 14,17,18) and it actually makes me tear up thinking about it.. she isn't a child anymore! But she will always be my baby and I will always be Mum, so it's all ok:)

I know I'm still DD3's Mumeeee. But she is beginning to need me less which is a good thing. My eldest will be 25 in April so I've had teenagers for about a 11 and a half years. which is quite a long time. Some of it's been hard but there have also been dun times. They have made me both cry and laugh over all those years. I feel sad bur also glad my children are growing up.

nearly 12 years of teenagers you deserve a medal or I like they are growing up but it sort of leaves a gap IYSWIM today dd1 is working and dd2 is in town so im sort of milling about on here , I considering a dog now , so i can pander and fuss over something ,

Well DD3's at home. So I can try to fuss over her but she doesn't let me [grin. She went off to do her voluntary job this morning and is now probably IB town with a friend but I don't really know. She'll text me sometime to let me know what's happening. I'm finally less stressed about that sort of thing then I used to be. Can't get a dog as I work odd hours and DH is often working late.

Mt dd will be 20 in July and she will still be my baby. Her 2 dss are 37 and 35 and I try not to admit to having children of that age. She has made me feel young but I know I am not as I am 60 next month. Don't know where the time went. I don't feel a day over 58!
