The Anna Freud Centre, a London based children's mental health charity is offering a parenting talk about understanding your teenager on Thursday 10th November at 19:00.
This talk will look at the most recent scientific understanding of the developing teenage brain. You will find out how this understanding links to the way teenagers behave and communicate - in particular trying to make sense of how the same teenager may behave very differently at different times, or in different settings; one moment thoughtful and reflective, the next impulsive and demanding. Dr Dickon Bevington will offer some ideas about how to use these understandings to help communication with teenagers, and there will be time for discussion and questions at the end of the talk.
