Oh no, my husband and I are shocked, disappointed, feeling sick - our 13 year old son was caght shop lifting in tesco, stole 2 x bars of chocolate, caught red handed, brought home by the police. We are upset, he's upset. Good kid, how do we deal with?, any advice?

stern words and grounding and taking away of mobile/xbox ect ect and rather than shouting tell him what youve told us how ashamed and disapointed you all are and that his behaviour reflects on you, one thing though thank goodness they did ring the police as if hed got away with it you would be happier but none the wiser lets hope the police have given him a scare good luck

Hopefully this will be the shock he needs as bettyboop says, and actually everything else she says!!

Hopefully it will scare the willies out of him and he'll never do it again. My little sister was caught shoplifting years ago (mum had to leave work to get her at the police station) and she's turned out fine, good jobs, bought a house in her early 20's and a 1st at Uni.
