Oh for the days of bike rides and pic-nics. When a trip to the park was exciting and they would just play out in the garden.

Half term just finished here. I have two boys of 15 and 12 (almost 13).
I took the week off work and offereed to take them out, suggested trips and activities (not even cheap ones). all they wanted to do was veg on the sofa for a week.

We did manage a trip to a shopping centre where DS1 managed to spend his Christmas vouchers.

The most successful thing was a sleepover for DS1 and his friends. I know that 15 year old boys can EAT so I provided tons of food, snacks and cans of pop. They watched Jackass DVDs and played COD and Band Hero on the x box.
DS2 wasn't interested in doing anything .

Ds 11 has arranged a week of mates coming round or he's going to their's, football and a cinema trip. He will get £20 to pay for cinema, odd burger, sweets etc for the week.
Dd 14 has a similar week organized.

sleep over 1 or 2 is enough for me!! lol
