What is steamboat? My daughter, 15, was asked if she fancied a steamboat and replied 'I only steamboat with one person and he knows who he is'. Can anyone help?

It will either be a guy ejaculating on a woman's chest and rubbing his balls in it or taking a dump on their chest and rubbing their face in it... I assume it is either the first or she is just joking around. Each to their own really but I think it will probably just be talk.

Teens probably try most things that aren't full on sex, before having proper sex.

I guess it could also mean ejaculating on her chest and that is all.

Here in Scotland we call drunk people 'steam boats' at times.

aagh! I googled it and another site said it was a way of taking cannabis by inhaling through a loo roll. Somewhere else it said it meant being drunk. But the words: 'fancy a steamboat' and 'only one person I'd steamboat with' don't imply it's drink. Not sure if I'd prefer it to be the sex thing or the drug thing. Has anyone got a 15 or 16 year old who might know the current lingo?

i think you know the anwswer to the question really, i mean it seems pretty likely that she was talking about a sexual act, infact i would say she defo was, it could be all talk though as enchantica said, or she may be experimenting

Humm, guess on reflection, although pretty shocking that would be better than drugs. She will be 16 in April so guess it's naive to think that she's barely been kissed, but did hope things hadn't got this far, particularly without a long-term or serious boyfriend. I found these comments on her Formspring page so also very unhappy she's announced this to all 450 facebook friends (is this how it works?). I did warn her we'd monitor the sites she visits(no password whereas there is on her facebook account). What would you do? Have it out with her, ignore it, or continue checking to see what else she's up to? Was it wrong for me to read her Formspring?

erm, i agree that it sounds like banter, not to sure what a formspring page is, but the impact facebook has is unreal, i dont have a facebook page but nearly everyone i know does, and nothings private with them, as soon as something happens everyone knows about instantly because they read it on ''facebook''. Grrrrr

i would keep quiet for now, like you said the page wasnt private so its not like you were snooping in the popular sense of the word. although if you are worried about anything else that comes up speak to her! just keep a closer eye on her behaviour than usual if this is playing on your mind, but it sounds like just banter

Here in Singapore and Malaysia, a steamboat is a type of fondue dish - you get a hot dish of broth and cook slivers of meat, fish and veg in it. It's very popular..... I will never look at my local steamboat restaurant in the same way again
