Useful children's app suggestions

Does anyone know of any apps that are good for kids, particularly ones that are educational (and not incredibly annoying) for aged 3.5 & 4.5? Be grateful for suggestions.

My daughter is almost 4 and she has a great app called leos pad. It was free and really educational & fun x

Have a look at any of the Nosy Crow Apps. They are amazing. Really beautiful illustrations. They have interactive fairy stories told in a really funky way. They have storybook illustrations made into jigsaws where you can choose how many pieces you have. They have mixed up animals, shapes etc. Really fun and a little bit different.

Bugs and numbers is great, there's also butterflies and buttons by the same developers, think the latter is for younger but have a look, highly recommended.
