can anyone recommend me a laptop?

my dd has a HP pavilion G series that is about a year old and is lovely.

BUT we have got to the point where we both need to use it at the same time, so Im going to get myself one.

BUT... Im a serious technophobe and am just unable to compare the computers... they seem the same but have different names on different sites and im just confused.

SO.... anyone who would like to help me?

I would like 8 MB Ram, 1 TB memory, Windows 8 and Office Suite. My budget is around the £350 mark.

Aware this was posted in October but if anyone is after a good laptop Toshiba's are highly recommended as they offer more versatility in terms of what you can install with out affecting functionality. There will be several sales after xmas : )
