Does anyone know if the flu season is this year is expected to be longer than usual? There seem to be a lot of vaccinations still taking place this late on, especially considering it would take 4 weeks for children to gain immunity from the vaccine. This would take us up to begining March when figures usually significantly drop?

The number of cases is already falling markedly.

I'm not sure whether it is possible to predict the length of the "flu season" (a pretty vague concept anyhow),
