Two new members to the Catan mischief

Sorry for the awful quality of the pictures but DH is reinstalling my operating system, so photos from my pad will have to do! Meet D'Argo and Rygel, the last of our Farscape group! They'll be neutered and will go in with the two big boys, Howl and Ben, until Howl dies and then the last three boys will join the girls.

The black and white mismarked hooded is D'Argo and the tiny boy is Rygel, Rygel is a runt but not special like Ashi was! Just small!

Oh my goodness they are gorgeous. Best ever rattie here was a black hooded called Oscar.

they are lovely, hard to gauge the size but looking at the bars on the cage and the water bottle spout to compare, they are tiny ratties?

Ashi left some pretty big RatBoots to fill, but your new little runt rat might be the one to do it?

Oh you've made me want pet rats again! (But we have a cat and very small children so waiting a while.)

One of the things that made me know dh was the one for me is that we had both previously kept rats.

They are beautiful op.

The bar spacing is about a centimetre, it's a ridiculously small hamster cage that we keep for travel and introductions but as the boys came from two separate litters they'll be in it until tomorrow I think until they're comfortable with each other.

They aren't the biggest babies we've had, same breeder as usual but D'Argo is from a new line which isn't as big as my breeder's usual lines, Rygel is from a bigger line and his siblings were very noticeably bigger but he's not too small really, I reckon he'll grow to a similar size as Ashi did if not a bit bigger :) he still has his really soft baby fur he's down my bra currently being all cute and sleepy. D'Argo is slowly warming up to us but I think he's unimpressed about leaving his siblings! Both DH and I have pushed him a bit and got a feck off nip! But he's curious and just wants some time to settle in :)

our last baby, Chiana, is filling the ratty shaped hole Ashi left quite a bit, she is a bit stupid and easily pleased like he was!

I thought that I'd update this with some more pictures

D'Argo & Rygel and also Ben & Howl. D'Argo is very very fun, he's always ready for a cuddle, Rygel is a bit mad and has spurts of chaotic energy before collapsing, much like Ashi did, he's also still very small (137g at 8 weeks compared to D'Argo being 308!) but I expect that he is related to Kozu, who is very small as well and is only 325 at nearly a year old, so I'm not expecting him to get much bigger than 400g eventually!
