I went into the pet shop to get rodent food. this tiny, boney lop ran over to the cage bars (rusty as sin!) licking them and then my finger.

the water bottle (stained yellow) ball wasnt spinning so i told the owner it wasnt working. 'yes it is' he replied before realising i was right and changed it.

i bought the little one home with me, he was so scared, so skinny it made me tear. he has been with me since fri. he is so lovely, he sleeps loads and likes to be held on my lap for a snooze. he nudges and licks my arm if i stop stroking his cheeks. some times he licks my arm whilst i stroke him!

i suffer from bad depression and anxiety and today has made me cheer up a little. last night i was really bad and he snuggled on my lap for hrs.

i know its a silly post but it makes a change to be posting a happy thread. x

Aww, it's not a silly post. I hope you and George have a long and happy friendship.

I have a hamster who like to sit on my shoulder, snuggle into my neck and have a snooze. Last night he was doing little squeaky snores. So cute!

thanks, i had a hamster that sat on my shoulder and shared my toast in the mornings. she would rather snuggle with me then go for a run.

i have an outdoor pair and the buck likes to nip for my attention but like a quick stroke before shooting around. the doe (ninja bunny) super feisty! attacks you wether your feeding, changing or petting her.

george is so affectionate, lays with his head over my arm too, follows me if i move. hope he stays so happy cos i know he could change as he matures.

he's special, he's been on my lap for over an hour just srawled out. enjoying a stoke, he toe curls when i stroke down his side!

i put him on the floor to stretch his legs but he sits there wanting to be picked up.

He sounds lovely. Definitely not a silly post - made me smile to read it. My previous bun got me through a period of depression so I can relate to that. George sounds like a great bunny and very affectionate. I bet he can't believe his luck at escaping the pet shop and settling with you. Sending you both hugs Grin

It is a lovely post to read...it sounds like George was waiting for you. Animals are amazing creatures for understanding us and are great friends and comforters. Sounds like he has landed on his paws!

:)
